The Battle challenging President Bola Tinubu’s victory has resumed today at the Supreme Court.
This is after the Presidential elections petitions court upheld the victory of president Tinubu on September sixth
The petitioners, Peter Obi, former Vice President Atiku and Allied People’s Movement had filed an appeal to challenge the verdict of the court of appeal
The Apex Court will commence hearing of the consolidated appeal
The court will also determine whether or not to grant the request made by Atiku through his counsel to submit Tinubu’s CSU academic records as fresh evidence as it had uncovered some new developments which will aid his appeal
The APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, LP factional National Chairman Julius Abure, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu and Chief of Staff to President Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila are all in court
The apex court has till 60 days after the lower court delivered judgement on September sixth to rule on the applications which will end on fifth November
